Every pet is treated as an individual, and we tailor the diagnostic and treatment plan to your pet. These example invoices are meant to help you plan financially for your visit; your pet’s actual costs may differ.
Ear Infection

If Your Pet Needs to Stay With Us
Some pets need fluids, monitoring, or treatment beyond a single outpatient visit. Here is what hospitalization typically costs:
Minor Treatments
$1,000 – $1,500
Typically includes:
- Up to 12 hours of monitoring
- IV catheter, IV fluids, and IV medications
- Repeat diagnostics as indicated
Multi-Day Hospitalization
$1,500 – $3,000
Common examples:
- Urethral (urinary) blockages in male cats
- Severe hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (bloody vomiting and diarrhea)
- Chronic kidney (renal) failure
- Diabetic management

- Your cat is straining to urinate
- Your dog has vomiting and diarrhea at the same time, especially if they seem tired or won’t eat

- Your pet was just bitten, stung, or hit by something
- You notice a bloated abdomen or obvious signs of pain
- Your pet is trying to vomit but can’t produce anything

What We Treat
Urgent care visits often start with a gut feeling. Your dog’s suddenly limping. Your cat won’t eat. Something’s not right—but you’re not sure how serious it is or whether it can wait. That’s why we keep space in our schedule every day for urgent cases. When your pet needs to be seen quickly, we’re ready.
Once you arrive, we’ll evaluate your pet, run diagnostics if needed, and explain what we find in clear, straightforward terms. Some pets go home the same day with medication and a care plan. Others may need fluids, monitoring, or short-term hospitalization. Whatever the case, we’ll walk you through the next steps.

What to Expect
Urgent care can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re not sure what’s going on with your pet. Our goal is to make the process as calm, clear, and efficient as possible:
- Walk-in or call ahead. If you can call before you come in, we’ll be better prepared. If not, just come—we’ll do our best to get your pet seen quickly.
- Triage-based care. Patients are prioritized based on the severity of their condition, not order of arrival. If another pet is seen first, it’s because their situation is more critical.
- Same-day treatment. Our team will examine your pet, talk with you about symptoms, and perform any necessary diagnostics using our on-site lab, digital X-rays, or ultrasound.
Urgent vs. Emergency Care
We are not a 24-hour emergency hospital—but we can treat many urgent medical issues and even some emergency surgeries if circumstances allow.
We can often accommodate surgeries like:
- Pyometras
- Gastrointestinal foreign bodies
- Splenectomies
- GDV (bloat) corrections
If your pet is experiencing a life-threatening emergency—such as collapse, severe trauma, or trouble breathing—please go directly to the nearest emergency facility.
